Win or lose i just want to say i am proud of the way our Tigers have handled themselves. We have all waited a long time to see LSU back on the field. This hurricane has taken alot of enjoyment from many people . I have questioned myself in why i care so much about football when people have died and the utter devastation that has occurred. I can only say that i believe in God and i pray to him that all of us will learn from this experience how precious life is. Live each day as it is your last. Help your fellow man. And there is a time for everything. Even in the midst of all the trouble we have something that gives us hope and lifts our spirits. Win or lose for these few hours it gives us a chance to relish in the special things life has to offer. Would i like LSU to win this game You bet i would. But if they dont i will be thankfull that they gave it their best either way and be proud. I am very blessed and realize how lucky i am. I have a wife and family that love me. I live in the greatest nation on the face of the earth. I am from the Greatest State on earth Louisiana And my team is the : LSU Fighting Tigers :tigerhead
Very well stated :thumb: I've been in CO for 30 years, but I still have family in LA, including a younger brother in NO who had the smarts to leave NO the Saturday before the storm hit. The scenes I've witnessed on TV the last week or more have been heart breaking. Like you I'm hoping for a Tiger victory Saturday night. I'm confident the Tigers are going to be charged up and ready to kick some Sun Devils a**, particularly if Les gives 'em a fiery Let 'er Rip pregame speech.

good post. but i have a problem with that statement. its impossible to live everyday as if it was your last. its simply not feasible no matter how much we'd like to. now if I didn't have to be at work 100 hrs a week things may be different. there's just nothing i can do in boring meetings half the day no matter how hard i try.
