1. I like the new hire for several reason but mostly I think he is a man I can respect. He, like Nick Saban, brings a high level of integrity to a game too often touched by scandal. Recruits would allways say that they respected Saban because he told them the truth and they knew he was going to play the best players period. I think Miles will bring the same element to recruiting. Also he is more loyal than Saban (who had a huge ego, was hard to work with, and made things about him) and will stay for a long time (the only place he would go would be a big maybe at Mich.).

Winning is important too, but I also really enjoy having a class act at coach who is well respected and raises the bar at LSU.

Good Luck coach Miles and welcome to LSU!
  2. You are right.

    It's the only thing!

    Very good book.
  6. I thought this had something to do with Brady and the mens team   :thumb: :tigerhead
  7. Nobody here wants's thug you. And that's why LSU pays the big bucks. It's the coaches job to run a top notch program on and off the field.
  8. Also just saw this clip again on SportsCenter.

"This is what the greatest thing about sports is: You play to win the game,'' he said. "Hello, you play to win the game. I don't care if you don't have any wins, you go play to win. When you start telling me it doesn't matter, then retire, get out, because it matters.'' Herman Edwards
  9. What Brady said was "Winning is a habit, unfortunately so is losing".
