You have to give all the props in the world to Michael Clayton and he deserves to leave and show his stuff in the NFL. Especially with having a 2 year old child, I'm sure the money wouldn't hurt. I just think LSU needs his leadership one more year, especially in the WR position. I know, I know, we have tons of talent there, but losing Devery and Clayton in the same season will hurt us. All of our new WR's are pretty much freshmen. The only good thing is most of them did get to learn from Michael and Devery this past season in practice and in games. Skyler Green is a hell of an athlete, but Amp Hill , Early Doucet, Dwayne Bowe, Craig Davis, and Xavier Carter have almost no experience. I think we all expect them to be Michael Clayton's their first games. I don't doubt their ability, I am just a little worried about them until I see them in a game and see what they can do at a collegiate level. Does anyone else feel this way?
I notice both of y'all (b L e S e U r and j0nathanr0y) have Road Purple Holligan written under your name....Is it some kind of group?
Yes, we are a group of rowdy road game fans. We have a good time. Feel free to stop by and visit us while at opposing schools campuses. Just look for the giant RPH flag. We are often found near the Krewe of Crown while on campus.
Okay....what away games are you going to this upcoming year? You do the same thing at the home games right?:geaux:
well you have to look at which WRs are going to come out this year versus next year...If Clayton stays then you would have to believe he would be atleast the 3rd WR chosen if Mike Williams of USC and Larry Fizgerald leave after their junior seasons, I believe he will be chosen higher this year with just Texas' Roy Williams up there with him
I wish MC all the best and I don't want us holding him back. WE WILL BE FINE WITHOUT HIM! We have the best possible coaching staff in all of football and other leaders as well. We have the top recruiting class in the nation and are stacked at wideout. I'm hoping to see another Clayton in Miami, although I'd also love to see him in Buffalo opposite of Josh Reed. As you can see I'm not a diehard NFL fan for 1 team. I have my favorites though
