I worked for the game today, and I very much was in the endzone for both the D-Bowe final TD, and the Colt David FG to win it... the most amazing experience of my life. You can't ever realize how loud that place gets until you're on ground level. It was totally amazing, and something I will never forget in my entire life.
I was in the other endzone last night for the FG and Bowe made the grab right in front of me...but I know what you mean. Georgia 2003 and Oregon St 2004 had a permanant adverse affect on my hearing...much like tonight
Man, the coolest thing was seeing the student section just going crazy the last part of the game. Completely kicked a$$ I'm not sure Loud describes it properly
Our student section is unrivaled.......definitely the BEST. Big part of our success at home year in and year out. :thumb:
Absolutely and when they got the two false start penalties..... man... it just got louder. I know I was screaming!
I was on the Ole Miss sideline at the south endzone for the last 2 minutes of regulation and the OT. Tiger Stadium was as loud as it's ever been, very nice.
My chronology is off...or maybe my typing comprehension. I've been up since 9am yesterday. I was in the north end zone for the field goal in OT but for the TD in regulation it was right in front of me. I was in front of the locker room...where I always go with 3 minutes left in the game to make sure the bad boys and girls don't try to come onto the field and haul off the goal posts.
I was a freshman @ the Earthquake Game in '88. As I was watching that 4th down play from home last night, I knew that the students in that endzone would have a priceless memory to take home with them. Being an LSU Tiger is incredible!
