Wow I just learned something from Sportscenter that I did not know!

    Did anyone else know that USC was the first team to WIN,keyword here, consective National Championships by double digits. Now correct me if I am wrong but I don't remember them playing in the National Championship game, as a matter of fact I rememeber them being handed the AP poll and that was it. Just me but I don't see that as winning.

    This has been said before, NCAA doesn't officially recognize any National Championships. If somebody crowned the National Champs, they are National Champs.

    If thats the case, then USC just three-peated.. because they won 3 polls in 2002..

    and lsu has 6 championships.. why dont we recongnize the 1908 team as national champs.. they we co-champs of the major poll...

    i have a poll that says the mets won the college football national championship this year. i will call them champs.

    the schools in the bcs agreed to the system, to reject it when it doesnt go your way is ridiculous. the bcs declares the champion, no one else.
