ON SABAN'S RADIO SHOW. GUTSY QUESTION, NICK GAVE GOOD ANSWER AND HANDLED IT PRETTY CALMLY. TALKING ABOUT THE GUY THAT ASKED ABOUT LIVINGS, AND PULLING THE RBS
Well this guy called in and asked Saban why he hasn't moved Livings back to guard because he was playing pretty bad this year. Also asked why he pulls the running backs after one fumble (Broussard and Vincent) yet he leaves in the quarterbacks in the game after throwing three int's. The guy didn't sound like he was asking an good question, but more like he was calling Saban out. of course this is all paraphrased. Saban basically said Livings is having some problems, but it is more because he doesn't have the help he had last year. Said of the running backs that Joe Addai is the only guy that is consistently playing to his potential on a consistent basis. Said that Broussard had a bad week of practice before Troy and didn't seem to have his head in the game, and that Vincent has not been his self all year.
He said Vincent came to camp out of shape. He said that Broussards fumble was not the reason he was pulled. He said his poor week of practice coupled with his play in the game plus the fumble kept him out of the game. He said except for the interceptions, Randall executed the game plan pretty well. Indicated thet Russsell may get playing time this week if the opportunity warrants.
