For those of you at home saying "Damn, Zona St. must be good, they put up 60 on Temple."

Don't be worried, Wisconsin is up 31-0 on Temple with 12 mins left in the 2nd quarter...

And we saw last week just how bad Wisconsin was, losing to Bowling Green in the 1st half

I wouldn't be dismissing BG so quickly, Jacobs is an incredible college player...he can carry a team and often does (4,002 y 41td 4int last year). He finished 30-for-51 for 458 yards, 5TDs 1int vs. Wisconsin.

come on, wisconsin at best is a decent big 10 team, and they making Temple look worse than Zona St. did

Keep in mind Temple is a constant bottom 10 on ESPN.

However, I hate to be the voice of reality....

Records are made to be broken, fellas. ASU is 0-2 against the SEC, the only constituent of which they've ever played is Arkansas. LSU is 10-3 against the PAC-10. All looks good on the surface, right?

Remember LSU vs. UGA in the regular season of '03? UGA had something like a 5 or 6 game road winning streak. Their kicker hadn't missed a kick in almost 2000 years, and David Greene hadn't thrown an interception in his last 100 passes, or something like that. You all know the problems that plagued them that game, and who won.

I don't mean to say we gotta problem with ASU. I just really really don't want to jinx this with overconfidence. :geauxtige

Yeah. Not trying to scold anyone. I think we'll murder them.

Games like this usually come down to execution. The team that executes will win, and probably win handily. I just think that LSU will be too rusty and "fresh" for ASU. I don't care if ASU played a jr high football team, at least they got to work out their timing and ****. The game won't be close either way. I think the spread will be about 15 points. LSU has nearly ALL the advantages, but I'm worried about the little things. We'll be excited and will probably get a decent amount of penalties. I just hope JR shows a little resiliency because a slow start could really kill our chances. I'm going to say 34-14....LSU, of course

What ASU did last week is irrelevant this week. In '03 Arizona had just stomped UTEP 42-7 and got to work the kinks out. Then LSU goes to Tucson and you know how that went.

    Wisconsin 51-0 in 2nd qtr.

Temple is bad and I don't think someone can put much stock in saying that ASU beat them by 60 points and Wisconsin beat them by 70.

The concern I have is the fact that LSU is playing in Tempe, haven't had a game yet to work the bugs out. Remember we should have wiped the floor with Beaver tails last season in the opener. It was even rainy so that we should have been able to run the ball all over them, which should have given us the advantage.

I am a little nervous. I think without a doubt LSU is a much better team and ASU gets their share of wins b/c of the cup cake conference they are in, but I said the same about OSU 1 year ago. LSU is much much better but we haven't had a game yet. If LSU doesn't start strong in the 1st qtr on offense we will be at risk of losing one.

But personally I think we will cruise by ASU but I do have some reservations.
