He confessed right away. Will be in Angola for a long, long time. It was brave of the good samaritan to try to stop the robbery but pretty foolhardy too. Anybody who lives in New Orleans should automatically assume that criminals are armed. Same thing happened in Baton Rouge about 3 years ago. The guy got shot trying to stop a punk from robbing a woman and I think he either died or was fucked up for life. It's a strong argument for law abiding citizens to carry a gun.
