1. The line that makes the article really worth the read:

  2. Beat me to it, I was about to post that #8 was the best part of that entire write up

  3. I like this guy.

I was going to start a thread with my top 10, and I was going to have Oregon 1 and LSU 2. Just like this guy. Smart dude.

  4. Right now based on what I've seen this season,I'd have it like this.

    1. Clemson
    2. LSU
    3. Oregon
    4. Alabama
    5. Texas A&M
  5. I'm as big a fan as the next guy, but you guys are confident with putting us #2 after we gave up 17 points to UAB and 27 to TCU?

  6. Well we didn't get blown out by BYU, Washington State, or get drummed by a FCS school... scores around the nation indicate no one is shutting down everyone the first 2 weeks of the season. We've actually been one of the best programs blow out wise so far, so i'd say those rankings are pretty accurate.

  7. So because we didn't get blown out, we're the #2 team in the country?

I get the optimism, and I see the potential and the talent, but when there are rumors that your 2 true frosh CBs are about to become starters after 2 games, it doesn't reek of #2 to me.
  8. Take it as Miles amd staff are recruiting studs ready to play SEC ball. As some of the coaches have tweeted, if you're a Freshman and can play, you will see the field. The years of seniority getting on the field are over, if we have freshman or sophs that are better than they will be the ones on the field. Very encouraging to recruits who are looking for early playing time on a big time program.
  9. TCU only earned 13 points. The other 14 were gotten on pure flukes. Against, UAB, that score could have been whatever we wanted it to be. The defense saw it was going to be a blowout and let off the gas, then were straightened out at halftime and shut them down. Anything can happen, but LSU and Oregon have been the most impressive teams so far. And maybe Clemson, but they allowed a whole lot of points to UGA.
