Jacob Heister. He may not put up 5 Billion yards like Colt Brennan or whoever else, but he's an awesome player, student, and he has more passion for what he does than the vast majority of current CFB players. And I'm dead serious about this. Just look at that last touchdown in the UF game last night. Look at how much passion was put into that charge into the endzone!
Count me among the converted fans who said he should not start ahead of Williams. But a Heisman? Nope. The kid will (rightfully) take his place among LSU football legends.
Well, it has happened before. Granted, the last one was 1973, John Cappelletti from, of all places, Penn State. The more amazing thing though is that every single Heisman winner from 1972 to 1983 was a RB.
