Just think about all J. Lee went through...knowing he could have left and played for MANY college teams...but he "luved" him some LSU....with the bs that JJ has brought on LSU, you guys would have had to start Mett with so little experience. He is probably going to be something, but I don't think he would have been ready for the stage you had last night. In my opinion, Lee loves LSU more than most people can imagine. Wish he was a Reb...
Great post. Amazing to think that he's still here after everything that has happened. I give the kid a lot of credit for staying and to have fought through all of the adversity. :geauxtige
Exactly!! Not a stellar night for him, but hopefully good enough to make him a little more confident going into conference games. Glad he did well and got the win in front of his home state crowd!
Very good post.......this shows lee's character, definately a high character kid, the reps going forward with the # 1's will only make him better.
Saturday morning early I got a call from a college coach in Tx. , we started talking about Lee. We both agreed that he would have a good game. He, like I, saw him play in high school. He didn't do anything to hurt us. Made some good throws.:tigereye:
This is why I'm glad to see him get another chance. The circumstances are unfortunate, but it is what it is. Jarrett Lee is a standup dude.
Lee was a complete head case after all those pick sixes. I didn't know if he would ever be able to stand the pressure of leading this team. Knew he had the physical talent but really didn't know if he had what else it takes. The poise he showed against Oregon really speaks to his character. A guy who just refused to quit. A guy determined to wait for his chance for success and to seize it. Hats off to him.
