Your jersey #

The thread in the Den about the next #18 got me thinking....

i'm pretty attached to certain numbers. they're are some numbers i like for certain reasons....some i don't.

i remember when i was like 8 or 9 i played basketball and my favorite player was domnique wilkins. my team was the hawks and we were red and white. i couldn't wait to pluck the number #21(my favorite basketball #)for myself when they gave out jerseys.

well, i was sick on jersey day and the only numbers left when i got back were #10 and #20. i took #20 but hated it. begged and pleaded with the kid who had #21 but to no avail. to this day i don't like jersey numbers that end in zero (or six but that's just a weird quirk i guess).

so since football seems to be the most popular sport on this site, gimme your football jersey number. once a number is gone it's gone, first come first served.(be nice mods) i won't even go first.................

btw, #3 is reserved for nootch (i think).


(i'm also looking forward to izzy or someone making a roster of TF by jersey #'s, eff it i will do it.)

done, when i saw that you posted i figured you for #23. i was wrong.

edit- maybe in basketball?

 

#4 in basketball and #22 in baseball.

#2=cousin number in high school and at USL
#22=uncles number at ULM and NFL, CLF, USFL
#4=other uncles number at McNeese and NBA.

I played QB and free safety.
pitcher and center field in baseball, sometimes catcher and 3rd base.
basketball played the 2 and 3. Sometimes 1.

 

I was always # 6.

 

I was #32 in all sports. Yes, it was because of my youth idol. I have since decided the person who wore it wasn't all I thought he was. Although it was evident to me that the way he slashed through people, even after he retired, he was one of the best. Noone could ever catch him.
