Hopefully it isn't true. But if it is, the national TV audience and a bunch of LSU fans who missed the end of the ULL game will be introduced to our next great Tight End, Richard Dickson.
Dickson is our only great TE right now... he is better than Zinger, but either way, it sucks to see someone hurt if this is true
I'm excited to see dickson play some more, apparently he was just as good a defensive end coming out of high school.
You know, this is gonna sound retarded, but I was playing NCAA Football on the 360, and I was adjusting the Tigers' depth chart. For some reason they have LB #11 ahead of Luke Sanders, and Sammy Joseph isn't even on the depth chart, but is on the roster. Anyway, when I was messing with TEs, I noticed that I had a TE, Dickson, that had a speed rank of 84 (Xavier Carter - 99, Perrilloux - 85, Doucet - 91; so, fairly accurate, if it were possible to rate speed) and other very good attributes that made him one of the best frosh TEs in the game. I had never heard of him before, but in his sophomore year, he's second on the team behind Doucet for yards with 600 and 9 TDs. He's leading in the Best TE Trophy.(JR is second in Hypeman voting, thus far) As retarded as this reply is, I know how accurate NCAA Football can be. I found out how good Joseph Addai, Corey Webster and Micheal Clayton were before I saw them play. If they are right, Dickson could be our next LeFluer.
i heard that Zinger has crohn's disease. I also have this disease and almost died from it right out of high school. I weighed 120 as a senior and got down to 80 lbs while i was sick. It took a few months before doctors recognized what disease i had (one idiot told me it was in my head.) I was finally diagnosed with crohn's disease and treated. I was given steroids to put weight on as well as prednisone (spelling looks wrong) that gave me a tremendous appettite. I put on 70 lbs in a few months.
I live in Ocean Springs, MS where Dickson played high school ball. I hate that about Zinger, but this guy is the shiznit
The Sunday Advocate quoted Les Miles as saying that Zinger had a stomach ailment but he didn't think it was too serious and that he may be able to play at Auburn.
