Correct me if i'm wrong, but these are the Tigers in the draft:

    Demetrius Hookfin
    Bradie James
    Damien James
    Jeremy Lawrence
    Norman LeJeune
    Jerel Myers
    LaBrandon Toefield
    Kendrick Allen
    Domanick Davis
    Byron Dawson

How do you think any of these players will do?

DD could go from the 4th on. James is anywhere from the 2nd to the 3rd, I believe.Toefield could be anywhere from the third to the fifth. That is what I have been reading so far...Anyone else can correct me if I am wrong.

I think DD goes higher than 4th. Kiper from ESPN thinks he is a late 2nd to early 3rd round pick. Everybody seems to like his special teams ability.

What do you guys think about Damien James?

I think he is an awesome athlete, but probably won't get drafted, but will find himself on an NFL roster by next season.

  5. I doubt DJ will get drafted only because of his behavior last year, he's a good player though. I have high hopes for BJ, DD and Toe going in the upper rounds. Some people are expecting Bradie to maybe go to the Pats, that would be a trip being as there are already 3 LSU guys there.

Hookfin may be the surprise this year. Whether you like the guy or not, he is a true cover corner, and every NFL team can always use another good cover guy.

Damien James, IMO, would have been a mid round pick if he would have finished his career, unfortunately I think he will go undrafted.

You're right Ch0sn0ne. Tory James and Denard Walker were good corners at LSU...not awesome and they have turned into 2 of the best CBs in the NFL.

I heard somewhere a while back that Lejeune's stock was rising and he might be a good pick up...hope so, but I see him as undersized.

the main problem with Hookfin is his speed. i saw where he ran around a 4.7 at the combines. he has true grit and determination though....that'll take him a long way.

If he really runs a 4.7 and wasn't injured or anything, theres absolutely no chance in the world that he can play in the NFL. Mike Rumph's speed has been questioned all year since he got burned so much last year, and he ran a 4.53!

The avg corner in the NFL runs about a 4.45..

I run a 4.65 or so myself and I know I couldn't cover those guys..
