He has had exactly 1 season with fewer than 3 losses, yet he parlays this feat with bigger and bigger paydays.
Good coach, sure. A reason to command 4 million dollars? No way.

Oh, and this team went 10-2 just a few years ago. This is not Miss St he inherited.

I am definitely ready to move past this game, but his record deserves to be mentioned for the lurking gumps.

St. Nick has at least one more loss coming his way ..... he's earned it.

I definitely like Auburn over Bama.

Agreed. In a perfect scenario, Chaz trips coming out of the locker room and tears his ACL. Then, AU pwns Bama. That would be a great day.

I feel kind of bad typing that, but what he did still turns my stomach.

Exactly! Makes me wonder why we are not paying Miles more.

Mississippi State is looking up and Arkansas is usually very competitive. The only team that is fully lost in the west is Ole Miss, and they still man up against SEC foes.

The outcome of this game was huge for many reasons.
And not just from LSU's viewpoint.

The Gumps who visited this board earlier didn't seem to realize   that winning a game also means winning recruiting leverage.

With both LSU and Georgia winning in Bryant-Denny, those games should serve to keep Saban at bay for at least one or two more recruiting seasons.
