Very, he is still Tiger Bait. And that asshole better not end up at Alabama.

 

Wish him nothing but the best at Baylor till they line up on the other side.

 

Heard him on the radio this AM; I don’t know the guy but transitioning to head coach seems like it’s going to be tough. I don’t see him as a natural admin guy.

 

Nor do I. Agree with most that saw him ultimately as a successful NFL DC.

 

Dave's a high iq guy, not a rah rah guy. More like Saban than O.

 

I don’t know where you compare Aranda and Saban as leaders. No one is more emotional on the field than Saban (usually crazy mad). No one is less emotional on the field than Aranda.

 

He's nothing like Saban. Saban is a relentless and ruthless competitor and recruiter who will do anything to win at all costs and has a lot of natural charisma. Dave Aranda is a cerebral introvert. Seems to be as genuine a guy as you'll find. He'll happily demonstrate in his teaching but isn't demonstrative. Saban and Aranda couldn't be more different other than both being quality defensive coaches.

 

So what? Both have something upstairs though.
