Sadly I agree. I was at 3 of the 4 games they played in Houston. The team looked like they had a lot of potential back then, but it never materialized. The pitching staff (starters and relievers), was not even close to being as advertised. Lack of clutch hitting. Too many errors and base running mistakes at crucial points of games. I gave up on them about a month ago, because even retired alums like me have better things to waste time on. Things that don’t drive my blood pressure through the roof.
What he said. I am not asking for coaching change, but doubt about that has crept in. Certain times, the players look lost and the coaching moves sometimes look bad or pointless. Just an observation. There is room for building. Too late this season.
Nah we got the right guy in JJ. Sometimes it just doesn't work out with the players. We will be back on top in a year or 3.
my understanding is the whole goal of all of this is to be the national champion. so I would give the defending current national title holder a bit of patience.
