Let’s examine another recent occurrence in this never ending shit storm. Emery apparently is out — for academics. Now you have a highly acclaimed prospect comes in -didn’t exactly set the world on fire- but he would have certainly been useful this season but what happens ? The kid loafs in the classroom and is ineligible for foreseeable future. Essentially he quit . That’s a clear indication of a kid not buying in, not doing what is necessary . He has let himself and his team down . There’s an element of personal responsibility no doubt but at collegiate level there has to be someone to keep a kid dialed in realizing hes important to the upcoming plans . That person is the head coach. .Currently that aspect of the job description is sorely lacking with the current occupant in charge.
From what I’m hearing in media the recruiting at o line has been crap on toast . The need for transfers heading into ‘22 is inevitable.
It happens with frequency at some places and scarcity at others, and it ain't because of dumb luck...
