.. that Red and LSUDad left the forum. Forget Red and his politics, I miss him in Tiger's Den. I liked his politics, too, but maybe that is what drove him away. I even miss SabanFan, a little. I am sure there are others. What can make one up and leave? Maybe I don't get it, but this is fun/entertainment, not serious life or death stuff, at least to me. I mean, if you don't like a thread, then don't read it or post. I think we have an ignore button. If everyong agreed with everyone else's post, then why would it make sense to participate? Have any of you quit, and then come back? What was the thought process? I wish someone that knows these guys could reach out, and get them back.
I've never "quit" then come back. Everyone on here knows that I don't take this stuff too seriously. I have gotten super busy and taken long hiatuses though. They'll be back, I'm sure.
I left and came back. I felt like things were negative, but in retrospect, I just had real life shit going on. Wasn't really a big deal if someone said something stupid or didn't use logic. It's just a message board where all kinds of different opinions exist. If those people left, it's most likely due to having actual things going on. I never got butt hurt over words.
I don't think we have many trolls here, particularly in comparison to other sites. But it got to the point where Red was one of the only legit positive voices here and I think he got tired of it. He definitely put more thought into his posts than most here. I miss the old guy too.
Hate when anyone leaves this forum. To me this forum gives you a chance to express yourself and talk about football, politics, and sometimes life in general. This is the best site out there IMHO
I always tried to be positive over here. Was even trying to share the possibilities of mass conversion at one point. Dang near got me decapitated. I'm positive that won't work.
Yes, I've taken breaks. Life happens and sometimes it's good to take a timeout. After my dad died and a poster questioned whether that was even true....I realized it was time for a break. And then at other times, it's a realization that I'm a USC fan on an LSU site. People do what they want. You should want that for them.
@red55, I'm sure you're still reading. I wish you would come back. Football season just isn't the same without your Good, Bad, and Ugly post-game threads.
