c'mon are you trying to make me believe that Miles and Jimmy Johnson have similar coaching abilities, I know the jury is still out on Miles, because I will not judge a coach by 2 games but jeez.
well that "good" coach managed to win a national championship... and have a college record of 81-34-3 over 10 years. Not bad.
Well, I am no Less Smiles fan BUT 1. Was it Sabans fault the beating UGA put on us last year 2. It was Sabans fault when he mailed it in against Iowa - Worst coaching I have ever seen 3. What about UF in Tiger Stadium 2003, a pretty bad Zook coached UF team beat us soundly at home - Sabans Fault ? 4. the Arkansas Meltdown ? 5. What about Bluegrass miracle, lets be honest LSU should have been beaten by UK. My point, fry Miles all you want, but I think sometimes people have selective memory when it comes to Saban. He tossed up several stinkers in his day as well.
That depends. Are you trying to tell me that there is no way that Miles can pan out and prove to be the a great coach for us? I think Maisel made a lot of sence. I know that what we have seen so far gives us a lot to be worried about coaching wise, but there is no reason that Miles can't end up being the coach we thought he could be. I am not saying that he will be the coach that Johnson was, but to just up and say that there is no way he can be a great SEC coach when it is all said and done is premature.
Don't forget Saban's UAB disaster...or every game after a big win up until '03. Miles has this season to show he can coach with a big lead, cuz he will probably have one against the sec west. Geaux Tigers
