I kinda got a feeling we have seen our last recruit in football until something is settled on the "Les Miles to Michigan" situation. Comments Please?

We've seen our last recruit for a little while regardless of that. Our next commit probably won't come until the all-star games.

As for the Miles to Michigan stuff, I imagine our coaches will start addressing that with the recruits soon & that won't be a big deal.

I doubt we see any more recruits until at least after the SECCG, and possibly until after the season's over. Honestly, I'm surprised we saw any in the month of NOvember.

Yeah you don't normally see too many recruits signing at this time. Everyone's busy. Coaches are busy getting their teams ready for championship/bowl games, players are busy with HS playoffs.

Many players want to play for a NC team. Winning the NC will trump a possible coaching change. Having said this, let me state that there are some players who get really attached to a coach, and they could be swayed. I believe we will have a very good class, whether it will be great is the big unknown.

I doubt that. Players want to know who they will be playing under. Most players commit to a coaching staff & school, not just a school. The in-state guys or guys who have parents for alumni are the ones you can usually count on (at least more so than the others) for sticking with their commitment even if the coach leaves.

I meant to say, "wont be a big deal if Miles stays", as I expect.

guys dont worry we will be fine. as long as we getba few more linebackers we will be fine....we are good everywhere else....and if les decides to leave which i would be very surprised if he doesnt we will still be find the next coach will be handed the keys to a ferrari with f-1 paddle shifters just like les got so as long as he is competent we will keep rolling ....especially with the way louisiana is going to look recruitment wise for 2008 we will be ok.
