https://www.nola.com/news/lsus-mali...cle_3b51f0fa-b218-11ed-8d9f-a723cbe72f66.html Malik Nabers arrested for carrying a gun without a permit. Luckily, only a misdemeanor.
Not what I wanted to hear! Just don't understand the need for a gun when you live on campus and everything is basically given to you. The kid has a chance to be a high draft pick and make a lot of money soon, but carrying a gun is a sure way to piss it all away!
I'm not defending Malik, but for the sake of accuracy he was arrested on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, not the LSU campus in Baton Rouge.
But on the positive side we are getting our wish for a new ST coordinator. https://www.nola.com/sports/lsu/lsu...cle_9b16d1c0-b206-11ed-9098-2708263bb5a8.html
I guess Polian is worth keepin round. Just hope the next ST coach is given control he needs to improve them.
Good point, but what was he thinking? It appears the charges are going to be dropped, but it just raises a lot of questions about him. Something tells me that's not the first time he's been in possession of a gun, so what kind of group is he running with? Regardless of where you are at, if you think you need to be packing when you go out in public, that's very concerning, especially since he's projected to be our No. 1 receiver.
Not sure confiscation is allowed for legally owned firearm (read not stolen and lawfully purchased/obtained) unless youre ref prev (katrina) nola police behavior (sarcasm).
