"I’m excited for coach House and all of tiger nation,” Chiefs DB Tyrann Mathieu wrote on Twitter. “This man loves football & teaching! One of the best I’ve been around. This tiger defense will be well coached from day one! Let’s all buy in!!! FOREVER LSU!”

Hope so. LB has been the weakest part of KC defense but let's give it a wing and see where it lands

LSU adds Robert Steeples to the staff

    https://247sports.com/college/lsu/A...-defensive-staff-Minnesota-Vikings-179296671/

"Steeples made the jump from coaching high school to the NFL last year after transforming De Smet Jesuit High School in Creve Coeur, Missouri, into a powerhouse in just four years. Under his guidance, De Smet’s football team went from 2-8 in his first season in 2016 to a state championship in 2019.

In his final three seasons at De Smet, Steeples led his team to a 29-4 combined record, which included a 20-game winning streak and back-to-back appearances in the state title game. His team was ranked as high as No. 8 in the nation."

Former CB that spent a couple of years in the NFL after playing and graduating from Missouri, then as a grad transfer at Memphis.

ftom HS to the NFL… I agree with what I read elsewhere: to make that jump he must be recognized as someone who’s a phenomenal coach who relates especially well to his players…

    That’s a pretty light resume!
