    NFL too risky.

Why would Coach Saban leave LSU, even a few years from now? The NFL environment is risky. An NFL coach either wins quickly or gets fired. Any NFL team needing a new HC is going to be one that's struggling. Turning around a struggling NFL team like the Bengals or Lions is a crap shoot: you can work yourself to death trying, and the odds are still against you that you can do it. If you don't turn it around after 3 years, you are on the hotseat.

Hell, The 49ers just fired a coach with a winning record who got to the playoffs!!

Why put up with the aggravation, if you're Coach Saban? You know that your job at LSU is extremely secure forever. You know that you can probably outperform Chollie Mac and stay on longer than even he did.

The incentives to stay are enormous. I'm one of those who will be shocked if ever he leaves LSU for an NFL HC job. Some folks expect that in 3-5 years, it probably will happen.

I say it's too risky, Coach Saban!! Stay with the sure bet at LSU!

I'm sure that you read this message board. Feel free to respond.
