    I was in Wal-Mart a little while ago and I saw some baseballs on a shelf. I picked one up that was marked $2.47 and it looked cheaply made. Then I saw some marked Official Major League. Each ball was in an individual plexiglass box. Those balls were marked $17.50. I suspect that the balls used in college are probably similarly priced. What ball would high schools and Little Leaguers use? Has to be a cheaper ball than the $17.50 9
    ones.

    I bought one for $23 at Amazon, about 5 years ago, official because it had the Commissioners signature/brand on it.

    I looked it up, in 2011, MLB paid $6 per ball

    MLB and big time college programs can afford them but what about everybody else. One game uses a lot of baseballs
