Worried about the Virginia Tech situation?

I know it's not written in stone, but isnt the first Gameday always at the defending National Champions first game? Anyone know what Gator Nation has to say about this?

1. Why? It's one game, one night, one La. team- we're not in some ongoing epic battle with VT. I dont understand you- are you saying that if we win the game our athletic program(s) will be damaged? How so?

2. Again, why? Atheletes have a mutual respect for each other (some exceptions) on the field, but when it's go time- it's go time. Time to play some ball. I can't Phil before the LSU/Tenn game saying "Okay, guys, um...let's not win this one because they have been through a lot this month...". Plus, the Saints got creamed that year. No special treatment for them.

3. Dont get it. Do you mean that now VT is the new "charity case" of NCAA?

My main worry about this game is our ridiculous punt scheme. I can see Beamer coming up with a way to find a weak spot in that odd spread we've been using. I hope we go back to the traditional punt formation this year.

 

I forgot about that. I have a mini heart attack every time we punt.
