I took a big leap of faith for the NC game and wore the new burrow jersey my wife gave me for Christmas. It may replace the good ol 72

 

So my new baseball jersey is in and I hope this season has a lot of luck to season it with

China. Bout the only way you can get that jersey. Ordered in December, before Xmas, just shows up today, barely in time.

 

Joking. Yeah sometimes shit gets hung up in customs sometimes is doesn't. Wash that shit in colorless bleach and kill that Corona virus first. You're fatal good luck gear would be kinda funny.

I don't believe in lucky shirts or whatever, or at least haven't since 1997 when I wore the exact same thing to the Florida win and Ole Miss loss in consecutive weeks.
I did read an SI article about Burrow from mid-season that mentioned he wears a sock inside out. It reminded me that once in high school, I was hurrying to dress for basketball practice in the locker room and put one of my socks on inside out. I just left it that way and had a great practice. Then kept doing it intentionally and had a good senior season. At some point, stopped doing it. When I read the SI article, started doing it again. I believe in that sort of 'lucky' because it actually has an effect on my mental state. I've played a few league games that way recently but not sure if it really helped. Think I'm just too old now.
