Plodding through TigerForums

Lately, navigating this forum has been agonizingly slow. It takes 45 seconds to a minute for a post, or a reply, to open up. I've been reading mail and magazines between threads. I just went over to WEN and didn't have that problem. Is it just me?

 

It has been running a little slow lately.

 

a little slower but not like you describe.

 

same here. a few seconds instead of instant.

 

SabanFan, you can temporarily disable avatars/sig pics and that should speed it up till whatever is the problem is cleared up. I'm a computer idiot but have a feeling it's because of the high amount of peole logged on. Lately the box at the bottom showing who's online is crazy long.......and that's only the ones not in stealth. :wink:

 

I timed it. It's more like 20 to 30 seconds, but it seems like forever.

 

you could try disabling signatures.. that decreased the load times a lot for me.

 

Whenever I click on "Ban User", it takes about 30 seconds to load the big red button control panel.


Seriously though, it happens to me too. Mostly when replying to posts.

 

It seems longer than it is to SabanFan because he is counting his minutes a little closer than us younger folks. :thumb:
