Last night was the first time I've watched 60 Minutes in years.

Was a good feature on the McIlhenny family. They give new meaning to the word paranoia.

I was on the Island a few weeks back. Lots of history on that Island.

I grew up 7 miles from the Island. My ankles still hurt to this day from all the Hydro-sliding in the Avery canal.

I'll take Crystal or Louisiana hot sauce over Tabasco. I always thought it made the dish taste too much like the sauce.

Then you may know my friends, the Duncan's, his mother was a Avery.

I actually don't know many people that live on the Island, I know a game warden (or at least he used to be) that lived on the Island for years, Schales was his last name. I'm not sure but I think the girl he married was connected in some way to AI but I could be wrong. The crew I ran with when I was a kid would have never fit in with the do-gooders in their own little private community.

I like Crystal in the kitchen to flavor a dish. But Tabasco on the table. People know just how much Tabasco they want.

No doubt. You have to offer a variety at the dinner table.

Several years ago I came across Sambal Oelec. Brings the heat without changing the flavor of the dish.

Well, that is a pepper paste, not so vinegary as hot sauce. I love it on chicken shawarma.
