coaches look at the paper the next day and look at final score, factor in home / away and both teams records, rivalrys.... etc... and make...
which is exactly why the system is so wrong... their are actually coaches 10 that dont have USC, OU, or AU in the top three at all....

I think Zook would be a good coach for a smaller team with less steep expectations.
