WR is one of the needs for the recruiting class of 07. We lose Buster Davis & Dwayne Bowe to graduation after this coming season. Xavier Carter & Doucet will both only have one year of eligibility left. LaFell, Richard Dickson, Jared & Chris Mitchell will all be here. This is such a deep year for receivers in Louisiana though, that I could see us picking up quite a few. Currently, we have Gabriel Bryant & D'Angelo Benton committed. What do ya'll think LSU's board looks like for receiver, as far as who we want most? Also, Terrence Tolliver just got done camping at LSU. Any word on how he looked & what he thought?
they really want Tolliver wr from Texas. Tolliver didn't camp he just came to visit the school. D'Angelo Benton is VERY good. and they are still going after Ahmad Paige, who will go where ever Luther Davis goes. They are looking at LSU and Florida St. Also i am not sure if Gabriel Bryant is still an LSU committ since he isn't even enrolled in any high school. Todderick Bajoie is another but he might not have the grades
Well we are very high on his list and his uncle is Harvey Williams former LSU runningback. But in his interview he didn't sound that thrilled
Our chances are far from low on Tolliver imo. Family ties, he already likes the school, enjoyed his visit, has openly said he wishes Jaret Lee would be his QB, and he is our top WR priority in a year when we will take many.
any chance we land Ron Brooks, a top WR prospect out of irving? he has already said that we are recruiting him the hardest, or is Toliver the only wideout from texas we have a shot at?
DandyDon says we will likely offer Delvin Breaux's WR brother a scholarship later this summer. I really couldn't see the reasoning behind that if we did.
I don't think we offer Breaux at WR unless we fail to land the other guys way ahead of him on the wish list.
Bajoie just committed, so that gives us 3 receivers thus far. Ahmad Paige seems like the last Louisiana WR we are recruiting really hard. I think we sign one more receiver, either Tolliver or Ahmad, but won't get both - just a guess.
