the umpires blew it... twice... they called Kotsay's catch a trap (it was). They advanced all of the runners 1 base. Problem is the mets baserunners overlapped, which should have been an out. Plays that are so heavily dictated on baserunning shouldn't be able to be changed.

He looked average today, as far as his stuff goes. He got five or six batters out on balls that were hammered. He made Johnson look silly in his first at bat but the Braves looked at ease after that. Still an incredible pitcher.
So what the reaction on the Jordan Schafer suspension from you Braves fans? 50 games for HGH... A lot of people were expecting him to be the opening day center fielder in '09. Maybe he still will be, but this isn't a good sign. Another question: how'd he get caught. If there's no test in place for HGH right now, what did he do?
