The SEC's #'s/ranking... 1,2,3,4,6,7,13,14,25,47,48,67 What struck me when I saw this was USCw at 48 (what if they weren't playing Ohio St. next year,) OU at 46, ND at 70. UT at 67 was interesting as well. LINK
it's a good story, thanks for posting But it's just a start, last years record isn't a automatic good record this year.
LSU started last year with one of the toughest schedules in the country and ended in the top 40% or so, but not at the top (Ole Miss was pretty close to #1).
If you take Rivals and SI as early pronostications on SOS, LSU was at 18. Sagarin has them finishing at 11th last year.
I guess I stopped paying attention after the SEC CG. I stand corrected. At one point after Arkansas, we were somewhere far below 11, I believe.
This says all I need to hear: 2007 Record vs. Team Finishing in AP Top 15 LSU 5-0 Georgia 2-1 Southern Cal 0-0 Ohio State 0-1 West Virginia 1-0 Kansas 1-1 Missouri 1-2 Oklahoma 1-1 Bama messed up our SOS with those loses we won't mention.
You mean like that UL-M one? oops, we weren't supposed to mention that UL-M game. For the rest of this thread, I promise not to remind anyone that Bama lost to UL-M....in football.
i'm glad you specified that bama lost to UL-M in football....i was beginning to think that their loss to UL-M occurred in some other sport but your mention of the bama loss to UL-M in football spurred my memory. thanks :thumb:
Is it just UL-M we can't bring up? What if we write it as ULM? ULM is obviously different than UL-M, so maybe ULM is okay. Of course, there's always U-L-M, or UL at M....
