How great is it that we can lose 4 in the 1st round, with maybe a couple more in the later rounds and still be a dark-horse for the national championship/favorite to win the SEC? We're reloadin and not rebuildin :thumb:

Holy crap. If you would have told me yesterday we'd have 4 go in the first round I'd have thought you crazy. This is simply the best draft ever for LSU, and I can't wait to see what it does for our recruiting.

Opps. The Bears are up. Olsen is a good bet. Or Posluszny.

A little suprised and very happy for Davis, he wasn't projected that high. 4 Tigers in round #1 is very impressive, definitely can't hurt recruiting!!!!!!!

Thanks Aubie! I'm impressed, and I'm not easily impressed. 4 in the first round, WOW.

But, Yes we need the recruiting boost, IMO. We lost the state's best running back to USC, and a 4 star def. tackle to saban and Bama. We just lost a load of talent due to discipline problems in Thomas, Giddens, and Anderson, two O-linemen expected to play some this year, great young talents. We are going to be thin in the o-line this year, where we were already thin. We had a good class, maybe this type of exposure can boost us up into Fla. territory in recruiting.

My hope is that the recruiting prognosticators blow it sometimes, just like the NFL draft gets it wrong sometimes (3rd rounder becomes all pro, 1st rounder bombs out). With many of the players redshirting, you don't know how your recruiting class was for 3 more years.

The Colts will go for either Branch or Poslunszny.

I don't think USC has anyone in the first round.

How is it that BOTH of our WR's went before the highly coveted Dwayne Jarrett?

11 first rounders for the SEC so far. That is uncanny...
