Anyone noticed that our guys are going to see each other very often. Russell, Bowe and Davis play in the same division.
SEC is getting some love too.

Hah i din't realize that, thats pretty cool. I dont' really have a favorite in the AFC West but I'll root for all those guys. KC's top 2 receivers should be LSU guys (Kennison & Bowe).

Damn man, I want the Raiders to draft Jarett, they shouldn't have moved down, but hey, they may still get him.

Both your receivers were projected ahead of Jarrett as were Meachem and Ginn. DJ ran a 4.65 at his Pro Day. Speed kills and lack of speed kills the receiver. Still has the best hands in this draft. I wish he would have stayed for his senior year but something tells me that another year wouldn't have sped him up.

Jarrett got WAAAAYYYYY more pub before, during, and after the season than either of our guys.

Some folks were saying he was better than the great Mike Williams.

Guess his stock fell almost as much as the fabulous Brady Quinn's.

More publicity doesn't equate to high projection. I never read him higher than either of the LSU receivers and if fact I even posted on here that I expected Bowe to go higher because he's a better blocker. DJ still has better hands.

IMO, the constant comparisons between DJ and BMW were incredibly detrimental to DJ. They are tall, black, WRs, and went to the same school. Beyond that, they are NOT similar.

DJ was projected as a very low 1st round AT BEST and more likely a mid 2nd round and that's what happened. Ultimately he ended up at the best spot for him. He's going to have Key and Keary Colbert to mentor him his first year or two. He never was going to be the #1 pick so if he can prove himself on the field and get to free agency money, does it matter how he got there?
