JR's now got Randy Moss (maybe) and BMW as targets. Here's where Kiffin as HC makes some sense. He, better than any other coach knows and understands BMW, his potential, and what happened. If anyone can pull something out of him as a WR, I believe it's LK. Personally, I love the JR to BMW combo. They could be the tallest QB/WR combo ever. The West Coast offense may be on display in Oakland. Still hate Al Davis.
Every single projection I saw had him going ahead of Davis and at least several had him ahead of Bowe. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/6421386 http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/6735038
Anyone else happy that Brady fell that deep? ESPN still in love with him for some reason... I hate ESPN...
I agree ahead of Davis in some but Bowe came away from the combine in a much more solid position. He was still behind Meachem and Ginn and those both came to be true. Today's draft produced some surprises as they always do. Doesn't necessarily reflect on the players as much as the needs of each team. DJ ran a 4.65 at his Pro Day and could not escape the comparisons to BMW. His fate was sealed despite having a somewhat interesting media story. Congrats again to all the Tigers drafted today.
Dont forget Zach Miller in the near future he is a great TE and us LSU fans should know from the game he had against us. I see him as a sleeper who might turn into a better pro than Greg Olson.
Here's just one. http://football.about.com/cs/positionalranking/a/nfldraftwrrank.htm I saw many of these. This week alone, I don't recall seeing one mock draft that had DJ higher than the #3 spot. Most had him as the #4. Of course I didn't see all of them but I didn't wake up this morning expecting to see him going any higher than the bottom of the 1st round. Yes, it is possible that Trojan fans can take off the Cardinal and Gold glasses.
Again, interesting story but nowhere did it equate to a higher projection. I saw the Okoye "Time" story ad nauseum this week and it did nothing to boost his status.
