I disagreed as soon as I read this. Appy State is not a good team just because of their QB -- 2-star recruit by Scout (link), NR by rivals (link). Appy State is good because they have solid overall talent, coaching, chemistry, etc. Hell, they won three straight Div 1-AA National Championships (with a playoff system, even)... and they even beat a strong Div 1-A team--Michigan--a team that beat Heisman winner Tebow's Florida Gators (coached by Urban Meyer, who a decent bit of people think is the greatest coach in college football).

When I think "one man" team, I think of Perrilloux's Jack St, that got crushed 41-14 by GT tonight (Perrilloux accounted for 203 of Jacksonville State's 258 yards--78.7%).

Perrilloux's Jack St, unlike Appy State, isn't in the top 25 polls for Div 1-AA, hasn't turned out numerous Div 1-AA All-Americans, isn't in contention for Div 1-AA national championships like Appy State, and has no chance to beat solid Div 1-A teams like Appy State did to Michigan last year.

you're playing the role of Lou Holtz real well.

Don't kid around. They are a one-man show.

They go as Edwards goes.

He accounted for nearly 3,000 of their 7,325 total offensive yards last year and he didn't even play in four of their games.


They have signed 7 guys with a "star" ranking on Rivals in the past 3 recruiting classes.

I mean, yes, they have some D-I caliber guys on their roster.

They just don't have 80+ like LSU does. And LSU's gameplan will be to take away the big fish and the head of the snake.

If they do that, LSU wins in commanding fashion.

So, looks like the game is definitely on for tomorrow! GEAUX TIGERS!!!!

However, some rumblings still about the game time being moved up till noon. We'll find out late this morning for sure.

I can't imagine why it needs to be moved up, as the storm will not even be in the Gulf yet tomorrow.

Because the entire state is jumping the gun on evacuations. Lafourche parish is already evacuating.
