10 years ago, living in Texas, was the beginning of Texas fans I knew ribbing me every chance they had because they beat us in the Cotton Bowl, a game I attended and now that I think of it, was the last time I witnessed an LSU loss in person. Anyway, I haven't forgotten and I'm reading some bowl projections that have us playing Texas in the Cotton. 10 years, I haven't forgotten, I really hope this matchup happens.
LSU's chances of rising in the final top-10 rankings is better if they play a ranked team like Clemson. But it would be far more satisfying to beat an arrogant team like Texas.
