I think they are balancing the incredibleness of the finish along with the significance of the game. Therefore, I think that's why the Bluegrass Miracle is only #11. That's my only guess.
I agree with islstl, it's obvious they are combining great endings with overall significance (read: national championships for the most part). If the OSU/Miami Fiesta was 8 and the Osborne goes for two was 7, i'm thinking the CapOne bowl ain't in the top five. Never know though. . .
Nope...it's 4th... :cuss: http://www.collegefootballnews.com/...es/100_Best_College_Football_Finishes_5_1.htm
well thats certainly nothing to complain about... 4 out of 100 GREATEST finishes in CF history? not too shabby...
It is if the highest-placing in the list is a game in which your team was on the bad end of the deal... Personally, I think the Bluegrass Miracle should have been in the top-10...
Personally, I think the CAP One deserves to be in the top five, hats off to Iowa for making the play I guess. I know everyone has their own criteria for the top finishes but to me the Bluegrass shouldn't be in the top 5 because it was a luck play. Alley Opps, Hail Mary's, etc. should have their own category. Plays made without a lot of luck should have their own as well.
So you think they should have come out with a seperate list for luck plays and not luck plays? Isn't that kind of subjective though?
