From that basis you are right, although I can't find the 2001 class to make sure. but you are correct about that i guess, this class is loaded.

Why the arguing? This class is awesome! We are national champs and we're reloading!

I admit I don't have access to 2001 as well.

If anyone does, please offer the info.

As long as we're in the top ten I could care less about the best
LSU recruiting class of all time.

I'm very happy with this recruiting class!

The coaches know how to put these kids in the best situation possible and how to teach them to make an impact.

Does anyone know where the key contributers from this championship
team were when they were recruited?

    Matt, Chad, Webster, Daniels, etc?

Matt was recruited in like 1987 or something! j/k

I konw Spears, Hill and Clayton were 5 starr, I heard Daniels and Webster were 4 starr that saban added to our prospect list after he arrived here as they weren't being recruited by the old staff. But haven't seen any of it with my own eyes probably since last signing day.

I heard Webster was 2 star, and how Saban groomed him into a great DB. I bet Daniels was no better than 3 star as well.

    Anybody with the info???????????????/

Corey was actually a non-qualifier that enrolled in school and practiced with the team but couldn't play. He had to make substantial progress towards a degree to get back the year of eligibilty back and he did just that.

If you guys are correct, that proves my point.

I don't care how many stars they are when they come to LSU.

If they listen and learn from this coaching staff and work hard
they can leave LSU a star or 2 higher........

The beauty of it all they also leave a better person!

We're now at 18, getting there.

Hawkins still has not commited to Miami and they are at 25 LOI's.
