Of course it's going to start debate and there should be a debate. Not a debate on banning them but a debate on who should be allowed to own one.
Who should be allowed to own one? Yunno you can't allow them at all if you want to keep them from criminals. Criminals don't care if they are allowed.
Psych evaluations. We aren't talking about drugs, I can go out and find any drug I want on the black market right now, it's harder to find a gun on the black market. Just a simple psych eval for anyone trying to purchase a firearm.
I really dont want to have a gun debate, my issues is that this guy killed children who had nothing to do with anything.
Martin is right. Bad people will do bad things regardless. Maybe if we all carried guns then we could limit the damage done. Elementary school, high school, college... no school is safe anymore.
so lets put guns in the hands of teachers in elementary schools. do you know how stupid that sounds, seriously. teachers with guns with small children around.
