Using the 2007 BCS formula I came up with these results when applied to the 2003 year. I used the AP in place of the Harris. There were also 7 computer polls in 2003 (unlike 6 this year) so I dropped the highest and lowest and added them up and divided by 125 (compared to 100 this year, the highest possible value)

    ------------AP----------USA------- COMP------BCS AVG
    #1 LSU----.9723-------.9625--------.9600-------.9649
    #2 USC----.9815-------.9790--------.9200-------.9602
    #3 OU-----.9175-------.9200---------.9920------.9431

I would have thought USC would have been #1 easily...

Something to cure the bye week...

Interesting...wonder how the game would have differed?

Yea, I know. I hate all this BCS tweaking of the formula. I'd like the same formula be used every year.

That's crazy we would have been #1. But another thing, I thought the main reason we got in was due to our strong SOS and since this year has no SOS I would have thought we would have been lower.
