A great season in my opinion. My alma mater has only lost three games in the past two seasons. WOW! New Year's Day bowl games are becoming the norm. Simply amazing!!
The team we saw today was the team I was hoping to see all year. I am satisfied with this year's team. 9-2 with major challenges at the QB is a major accomplishment as far as I am concerned. We are as strong a 9-2 team as you will ever see, me thinks. :thumb:
No need to dwell on the missed extra point, like someone said, it was Auburn's year. This team was amazing in it's resilliency, it's toughness and now when I look back at it the togetherness they showed while going through a revolving door at QB. It is a great season and one that I will alwys be proud of. we also broke a long string of not following a great season up with another. We're on track to have the best ERA of football ever at LSU.
to make it worse. 1 Play... 4th and 12... LSU had to stop one play and we are on our way to win yet another SEC title... If you really think about it. LSU is 2 plays away from 4 consecutive visits to the title game, a fluke hail mary (Sort of) against the Pigs in Little Rock. and a 4th and 12 at Auburn......... I know shoulda woulda coulda, but if thats not a telling tale about Nick Saban I dont know what is. They guy (and his team) was/is 2 plays away from 3-4 consecutive SEC championships. Oh well, we will be back...
I would agree with this statement, providing Randall is QB and is performing like a senior QB should. Like today or the UF game. Scrap this statement if MR is not at the helm.
