The article mentions SOS as having been removed from the formula, but I thought that the changes had not yet been voted on. Did I miss something and have the changes taken effect already or is the writer assuming the changes will pass the vote?
BYU, CSU, VA TEch and Notre Dame just may end up having much better seasons than last year so USC's SOS could change dramaticlly by the time the season is over. Preseason SOS is really a crap shoot.
And looking at that makes me feel sorry for Vandy, they just don't have the guns to play a tough schedule like that.
Don't cry for Vandy just yet. They return 20 starters. That's a ton of experience. I know they're Vandy...but I think they won't be the East's cellar dweller this year.
I think youre right. They arent going to win the division or anything, but they could win a few games this year. I kind of feel the same way about USC, though. I think the cellar teams in the east are going to all be much improved next year, so their records might not change that much to reflect it. Im betting on Vandy versus UK, though.
