I sure am glad that the boys in the LSU office are doing some good work trying to make amends for a pitiful 2004 schedule.

    The original schedule had:
Virginia Tech backout, bottom dwellers Houston, Troy State, Vandy, and the killer road slate: Auburn, Georgia, Florida all in a row with a bye between Auburn/UGA.

So far we've replaced VT (frickin losers!!) with Oregon St, and we moved Miss St to Sep 16 so we don't go on that back-to-back-to-back killer road trip. Both are great moves. As The Oregonian stated (see previous post), we are still looking for a change for Sep 11 (Houston game). Hopefully we do replace them with somebody like Syracuse.

However, the middle part of the schedule is worthless. Check this out:
    10/16 bye
    10/23 Troy St
    10/30 Vandy
    11/06 bye

talk about a pitiful 4 weeks!! after an awesome start, our tigers will be twiddling there thumbs for a month!!

it would be ideal if we could move UGA or Florida to one of the later bye dates.
