Trying to put my lack of objectivity aside but I still believe we will get back to Atlanta and win. I know the odds are against it but if the 2002 team was one play away from returning, I feel we still have a legitimate shot.
I have a question... If Auburn loses only to two eastern division team and we win out, we go to the SECCG, right? Me and my dad were talking about this and he was wondering if that Auburn lost to two eastern division team would they still go? And I said yes because that would mean they had 2 losses and we would only have 1. Correct me if I'm wrong..
Eastern or Western Div. doesnt matter as long as they lose twice... if they lose to UGA and Tennessee and we win out we go to Atl.
They have to lose twice OR they can lose once to a team that LSU beats, and that team only has the once lost against LSU, making it a 3-way tie, then the SEC tie-breaker deal kicks in.. i think the MENSA people are still trying to figure that one out.
But AU would still hold the tie-breaker over us if we both only have one loss. They beat us in the head-to-head competition, much like what happened to Ole Miss last year, as their one conference loss was to us.
There were two articles in the Reveille today about possible SEC West contenders. Arkansas and Auburn. However, only the Arkansas article made it to the website. http://www.lsureveille.com/vnews/display.v/ART/2004/09/22/4150f8d881e08 [/font]
Sorry TideFan, without Brody Croyle I think you all will struggle for a good while. I was sorry to see him get hurt. He seems like a quality kid. Alabama is my second favorite SEC team (my son graduated from Bama). :dis:
