I really like Bowe's chances for being a good #1 receive in the NFL. Clearly, Landry should be a solid contributor on the next level. I'd like to see Jamarcus succeed but considering his struggles against good college teams I just can't see why anyone would want to spend an early pick on him.

JR is going to come back and help the Tigers win the BCS national championship next year.

He may have struggled but he has performed good enough for the team to win big games. At least he's played in the big games, and NFL teams go more for size and upside. JR def has the size and the upsize is yet to be determined. How many big games did any of those MAC QB's play in? Pennington? Leftwich? Big Ben? Charlie Frye? Gradkowski? Obviously the NFL looks at how the QB has performed but I think they look more at the potential to develop the college QB into an NFL QB.

JR is a first round pick on his arm strength alone.

Did ya'll see when he went down to one knee, he was falling sideways and sent an absolute lazer 30 yards down the field to Davis? It was an amazing throw, even though he was down and it went in the books as a sack.

Laughable. Aren't you supposed to be the master of statistics? Why don't you go look some of those up. You were a joke when you thought you knew everything about the BCS (and were continually wrong), and you are a joke now with what I assume you consider to be unbiased opinions.

He struggled some while he was here, but it is not a problem this year. It is not as big of a chance as you make it sound.

I expect JaMarcus to go pro this year. Before the season, I said he would be the first "non-elite" quarterback taken, which meant probably early to mid second round. Now I think he stands a good chance of jumping into the first round, but this of course depends on how many teams need QBs. Part of it will be based on his physical abilities, but despite some of your impressions, he has also proven quite a bit as a very good QB here at LSU.

Bowe & Buster are 2nd to 3rd round picks.

Laron is obviously 1st round material, but he may drop to the 2nd.

If Dorsey leaves early (which I don't really expect), he'll be a 2nd round pick.

    Chase Pittman - 5th round.

Justin Vincent - won't be drafted.

    Who else is there?

Jesse Daniels will be day 2 pick.

Only other Sr with a shot is Brian Johnson. But with the way our oline has played he'll have to impress some teams in the off season.

If you look at the talent drafted in the first round for receivers the last few years, Bowe and Davis are both first round picks. I mean Roddy White? Michael Jenkins? Ashley Lelie? Donte Stallworth? Troy Williamson? Matt Jones? Lee Evans? Bryant Johnson? Freddie Mitchell?

They're all workout warriors and most of them had questionable hands. Davis' reputation is as a solid route runner, great hands and decent speed. Bowe's the same, but with some questions about his hands that seem to be erased with his performance this year. If those guys run 4.49 or better expect them to be one of the first 32 taken.

LaRon will be one of the first ten people selected.

Chase Pittman is a wildcard. With a good Pro Day he could be a first day pick.

As for Russell, if guys like Pat Ramsey, Joey Harrington, Akili Smith, Kyle Boller (who made the first round with a throw through the uprights on one knee) and Rex Grossman are first round material, then JR is a shoo-in unless he gets caught on drugs.

If JV loses weight he'll get picked up by someone. The scouts know that he was lost in the shuffle at RB, just like the receivers. If he has a good Pro Day, who knows? Draft position for guys like Chase Pittman, JV, etc. are largely about a good showing in the drills and hype.

It has absolutely nothing to do with weight. It has to do with being hungry to get better. He has no passion for this game. The NFL won't touch him.

I think its very well chronicled what happened between his inaugural freshman season and his offseason heading into his sophomore year.
