Yeah, that is what I was thinking. If Kentucky continues to play well as it did toward the end of last season, this should at least be an ESPN 2 game.
That's good to hear. Although I'll be attending all home games, but am I crazy or is it normal that I prefer to watch games on TV?? Maybe I'll take a TV with me to death valley..:hihi: About the Tulane thing, I think ESPN wants to renew the "rivalry"....too bad we'll whoop 'em by 50:grin:
I think Kentucky would have been on ESPN2 last year, but ESPN chose to show Florida at Auburn in “full circle” coverage meaning ESPN, ESNP2, and ESPNU were all showing that one game. ESPN has a contract with Conference USA. Until they start Wednesday and Sunday games in October, ESPN will feature a CUSA game every weekend focusing on games with good out of conference opponents: 09/03: Texas Tech at SMU (Monday, Labor Day) 09/08: West Virginia at Marshall 09/15: Texas at Central Florida 09/21: Oklahoma at Tulsa (Friday) 09/29: LSU at Tulane So the LSU at Tulane game being on ESPN isn’t much of surprise. If ESPN hadn't picked it up, it was almost a lock that CSTV would have.
Kentucky will be on TV. Is that the first time we've been their since the Bluegrass Miracle? I think JP wanted it on TV last year, but we said no.
left out the Va Tech game....will be 2 top 15 teams matching off on the second week. Should be a night game on ESPN.
I would rather be stuck in a Port-O-Let under Tiger Stadium on game day than to watch a game on TV. That being said, I don't have anything against the Tigers on TV, I just love being at Tiger Stadium.:thumb:
