Like I said before...I like Jim. The only thing that gets me is when I'm stuck with only the radio, he's my eyes and ears. He gets excited every time the ball is hit in the air and you think everything's a HR, yet most aren't. I'm not suggesting he be replaced...just think his glasses may need to be replaced. :hihi:

A good announcer would say something to the effect that it is a well hit ball, deep into center, and it will be close... the outfielder is running back and makes a leaping attempt...etc... He would not lead you to believe you have a homerun, and then crush you when you don't!
A ball hit to the wall that would have been a home run in any other SEC park (according to the TV guys) can be properly described "Waaaaaaaaaay back"!
