There is a low pressure system to the northwest of Alabama pulling lines of storms from south to north through Alabama. Most of the storms are just east of Birmingham. It will be hit a miss.

Remind me not to ask you a question. :hihi:

I like Jim but the one thing that kills me when listening to him on the radio is when one of our guys hits the ball deep......it's way back, way back, way back,...caught by the outfielder. You're expecting a towering HR only to find out it was a pop fly to the SS.

Its a shame that Espn has softball on instead of baseball.

Regardless our tigers will take care of business!:tigbas:

Well, it would be nice if he gave the score more often. I'm on the road almost every Friday and listen to the broadcast on WWL. Some nights Jim will even close out an inning and go to a commercial without giving the score - it can be maddening waiting for a score.

My friends and I think he is a very bad announcer. I think it may be because he cannot see well. Listen to any game, and see how many times he corrects himself. Ex: "he makes the catch for a first down...no he dropped it." This drives me crazy. To make it worse, the guys who work the games with him seem to be afraid to correct him, even when they know he just made a big error. I hope he will retire, rather than hanging on like some older players do, way after their prime.

    Anyway, GEAUX TIGERS!

I like Jim. It won't be the same when he does step down. He's been the voice behind LSU for 27 years...longer than a lot of you have been alive. He's human, and sometimes makes mistakes, but he's ours.

I agree Salty, it just makes me pay attention more when I am listening to him. But in his defense I have listened to other announcers and they have made mistakes too.
